Description: Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is colorless transparent monoclinic crystal or white powder. Relative density is 1.619 (19℃). It is easy resolve in water, no resolve in alcohol, acetone, ammonium. It will decompose when heating155℃. It will lose ammonium and produce monoammonium phosphate (MAP). Solution is alkaline (PH is 8 of 1% solution).

Uses:

1.Food: It find uses in food industry for bulking agent, paste regulator, yeast food, ferment aids, buffering agent.

2. Feed: It can also use for ruminant feed additives.

3. Fertilizer: It is an efficient high concentrated nitrogen and phosphate compound fertilizer.

4.Chemical industry:

It will enhance the hardiness if infuse the wood and paper in solution of diammonium phosphate. It can use as dry powder extinguisher, phosphorus of fluorometry, plate making in printing industry. It also find uses in production of radio tube, ceramic and porcelain enamel, waste water bio-chemical treatment, fire retardant of rocket motor in war industry.
