Corn gluten meal is the by-products of corn process industry. It is produced from the yellow liquid separated from liquid starch and then via filtering and drying. The protein content is 60% min, even some reach 70%. The balance is 20% starch and 13% fiber. The main protein in corn gluten meal is gliadin. But it lack lysine and tryptophan which is necessary for human body. So in usually it mainly used in feed. Corn gluten meal supplies vitamins, minerals and energy in poultry feeds; pet food processors value it for its high digestibility and low residue.
