Dextrose Monohydrate
Dextrose Monohydrate
Dextrose monohydrate is a kind white flake HX HEX crystal. It is also called oral dextrose which is produced from liquid corn starch via double-enzyme method.
The technology process is saccharification, deslagging, decolor, iron exchange, concentration, crystallization, dewater, washing, dry, screening, etc. It is widely used for nutrition and nutritional ingredients of oral products with vitamins. It can also be used to produce vitamin C and sorbitol and it is also an important sweetener which replace sugar.
Dextrose monohydrate is more digestible than sucrose as being a simple sugar is absorbed by an active mechanism directly without prior digestion. Due to its structure, its gross energy content is somewhat lower than that of sucrose and also less sweetener value.
